I don't go to the movies much so I will mix some TV shows in here, if you don't mind.

Let's see TV first..."Burn Notice", "Saving Grace", "Law and Order", "American Idol" and "Biggest Loser" (yes, that is the weak and liberal side of me..but I have NEVER VOTED!)

Now Movies..."Breach", "Blood Diamond", "The Last King of Scotland", "Gladiator" just to name a few. I also like light hearted movies (aka Chick Flicks). "How to Lose a Guy...", "American President", "Failure to Launch" etc.

Van Morrison, Peter Gabriel, Sting, OH GEEZ...do y'all remember Colin Hay from "Men at Work"? My husband just reintroduced me to Colin's work last weekend...he is solo now "Man@Work". Check out his new Album "Going Somewhere" (Extended Version). He plays a 12 string acoustical guitar and it is truly, amazing. My favorite song is "Waiting for My Real Life to Begin". It will bring tears to your eyes. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Let's see...who did I forget...OH YEAH!!!!!

The Dixie Chicks...NOTTTTTTT!!!!!!!

Joel Rosenberg's series. Pat William's "How to be like Coach Wooden". Christopher Moore's Books. All of them. How could you not read them when you see titles like, "Island of the Sequined Love Nun" or "The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove"...I mean, really...come on...

"A man (person) with intense spirituality may, without speech or a gesture, touch the hearts of millions who have never seen him and whom he has never seen".

I am that friend, mom, wife, daughter, sister and Aunt that will stand by you as you discover your passion in life and give you that 'quiet' strength and support to find your voice.

Absolutely each and every soldier fighting for my freedom...

...and yours.

Period.

blah blah blah...the usual. Married, kids, retired, a Political Chick through and through...

I laugh as much as I cry..I live life to the fullest. I stand up for what I believe in and I am not afraid to let my voice be heard.

I love sitting in front of a fire while a great thunderstorm is going on...I am scared when the power goes out and sad when the lights come on. I have been blessed with so many things in my life, but the most important is that I found my Soul Mate.

Plainly, I love life, my husband and my family, God, my dog and my Country. Order open for negotiation.

Hi Dana, I just love Joel Rosenberg's books and blog.  Isn't it almost eery how prescient he (that is to say Ezekiel) is?  I just love it.  I'm not an Evangelical Christian, just someone who's always awed by Biblical prophesy.  Good luck with Women for McCain!  Maybe you should try Women for Carly Fiorina or Women for Cindy McCain, LoL.  Works for me.  ;-)

Thanks for the invitation Barbara!  I have been so busy trying to start "Women for McCain" in South Carolina.  Operative word being "TRYING".  The experience has been like, "hitting my head against a wall so much that it is almost starting to feel good".  AND IT'S A RED STATE!!!!!!$%^!@^&#*!

I know that feeling so well!  How about you come on board with me in McCain Country as a Liaison?  It might open up leads to boots on the ground volunteers in SC.  The site only opened on Monday, and it's going quickly so far with sign ups.  McCain Country will be showcased on the main page soon, it's still a work in progress.  Also, post on the forum, do a blog, anything you like to recruit members.  The site is tied into some high traffic sites that should help.

By the way, send me the URL for your blog on the web.  I'll send you a graphic "award" for McCain Country for it.  It will link to here, and back to your site.  That should help as well.
