Black Ribbon Protest against Cap and Trade Bill

A nation-wide silent protest has started against the Cap and Trade legislation that was rammed through the House of Representatives yesterday. The 1200 page bill was passed 219-212 after Representatives were given less than 24 hours to read its contents. There is not a single person in Congress who could have digested all 1200 pages in such a short period of time. My New Rule

One of the "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" is "First seek to understand and then be understood." I am suggesting this as a "New Rule" for "new media/social media".

I attended every new media seminar I could find at CPAC 2009. Today I attended the New Media Seminar at the Massachusetts YR convention. Perry spoke about using YouTube for his commercials. He also does public access TV once a month and creates a YouTube video out of it. Also, given that the Mass. state government does not have an easily searchable way to find internet broadcasts of House proceedings.Of course with what has been going on recently I can understand them not wanting their shenanigans to be public.
