Chase..............what are we gonna do now?? We're doomed!! The Dems are all over the office now - I have a fear that these next four years will be very-very bad for us. I just pray that we don't have another terrorist attack - it scares me!! I knew Mac would protect us and now I feel very worried what my future has to hold. If Obama cuts our defense spending, and pulls us out, etc........it's just opening us up to being attacked again. My mom just told me she heard on the radio that the National Guard is no longer going to protect Indian Point in NY - that's it's up to the ones that are running Indian Point to hire protection. Can you believe they actually announced it on the f'ing radio?? Why not just paint a bullseye on it and taunt the terrorists to do something. I live in Yonkers, NY which isn't that far away from Indian Point - so you can see my fear here. Why do some people have to be sooooooo freaking stupid, why can't they "THINK" before they speak.
Please write me back, and tell me your thoughs on this - because like I said I am worried - and would love your feedback & opinion on this. - Joan
I feel exactly the way you do......my prayers & positive vibes are all going out to McCain & Palin but I'm fearful of Obama too. People can be soooo gullable & ignorant. I pray so much that he doesn't win. This Tues is the 2nd Presidential Debate - hopefully McCain will kick Obama's butt!!!
Hi Chase, did you see the VP debate last night? I thought it was reeealy good! Palin really held her own & I thought did great!!! I pray McCain gets in!!
Hi Chase! Yes I did have a nice weekend. I was visiting at my parents house on Sunday celebrating my sister-in-law's birthday with my brother (her husb) and my other brother. It was fun! :)
What about you? Are you still in Iraq?? If so, how much longer do you think you'll be there for? My co-worker's son is going to be coming home around Christmas and doesn't have to go back.....I'm sure his wife and two little girls will be thrilled! w/b - Joan
Hey Chase, welcome to LGTR! Thank you for serving our country and may God place His tender hands upon you and keep you safe! You are now on my pray list, as me and my hubby are pastors(not that that means anything), but we are prayer warriors and we blog about Christianity/Conservative Politics/Military Support. We love our soldiers! My husband, CyberPastor, Ed Boston, was in the Army himself. That is how we meet 27 yrs ago, and we are still married. We also have a radio show on blogtalkradio.com, where we mix those 3 topics together quite well. Our newest ministry is a radio show talking about how to help our soldiers when they come home, and how to intergrate back into society, and dealing with the trauma of PTSD. We co-host this show with a fellow friend who was a Vietnam vet and he now is a Reverend to. His name is Rev Don. Our show can be found at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/stations/HeadingRight/cyberpastor on Mon. thru Fri. at 11pm EST, and on Wed. nights I host a bible study show at this same address. We currently are studying about the early church and from the book of Acts. Its a pretty cut and dry lesson, nothing hardcore, and I even mix in some Christian music(pop/contemporary). Well, enough about me. Please tell me more about yourself, if you don't mind sharing. I would love to start emailing with you, or my hubby, for that matter would to. My email address is maboston81@gmail.com and his is hopecyberpastor@gmail.com . Take care and God bless!
