apathy is not an option

We do our entire country a disservice when we think that there’s no point in doing anything at all just because we can’t change Washington from the top down. More people need to realize that change starts locally. Supporting your local candidates for office, volunteering at the library or church, visiting people at nursing homes - these are all examples of things that make a difference. Change in Washington starts from the bottom and works it’s ways up. If you want better politicians in office at the federal level, elect better politicians in your community.

We need to set our sites shorter than 2012. We've got to rebuild the Republican Party for the 2010 elections and groom principled, conservative candidates now.

It is not okay to sit on your couch, in ignorance. Every able citizen has an obligation to give something to society. We each have our own talents and abilities and we ought to use them. We’ve been blessed to live in the most prosperous, free nation in the world’s history. And we ought to return the favor.

Get up. Act. And spread the word to others.
